Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store operations in a dynamic retail environment. You will greet guests, manage the register, and ensure shelves are stocked while upholding safety and policy standards.

The role requires flexibility for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, with physical duties including lifting up to 25 lbs and being comfortable outdoors or in cooler areas.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store (selling floor, stock area, register).
• Count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Conduct store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to keep in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Perform gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
