Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a welcoming, high-quality shopping experience and to complete essential store tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, and support daily operations in a busy retail environment.

We value reliability, flexibility, and teamwork. This role requires standing, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs, and working varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, outside or in cooler environments.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
