Job summary

The Huntington, part of Highgate Hotels, in San Francisco's Nob Hill, seeks a Restaurant Server to deliver attentive hospitality in a historic setting. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, order accuracy, and timely service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible with long hours and varied shifts.
• Able to stand for the entire shift and perform lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous service to guests and deliver orders promptly.
• Receive and deliver orders, process payments, and balance POS at shift end.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, specials, and outlets within the property.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas and service stations.
• Upsell food and beverages and assist in inventory and side-work tasks.
