Job summary

Hawkers Asian Street Food in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Server to create an inviting dining experience and deliver attentive service. You will greet guests, take orders, know the menu, and work with the team to ensure guests leave eager to return.

Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and staying informed about Hawkers story and service standards while adhering to OSHA/HACCP guidelines and being 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Must take and pass all required training courses and continuous training.
• Greet guests upon arrival and respond to guest needs promptly.
• Share Hawkers story and explain the service method.
• Take orders accurately with a positive attitude.
• Know the menu and make suggestions.
• Deliver orders from bar and kitchen to guests.
• Ensure tables are satisfied and address issues quickly.
• Maintain cleanliness and section upkeep during shift.
• Process payments securely and verify guest information.
• Check guest IDs for alcohol service compliance.
• Operate POS system accurately to take and complete orders.
• Perform side work at start, during, and end of shift.
• Be a team player and support colleagues.
• Must have or obtain Food Handlers Certification; follow OSHA/HACCP.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
