The Higgins Hotel in New Orleans is seeking a Server to join our team. You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, take orders, and deliver food and beverages in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, delivering the high standard of service our luxury property is known for.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, TiPS within 90 days, and 6 months to 1 year of serving experience.

Qualificações

• Food/beverage service worker permit, where applicable.
• TiPS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.

Responsabilidades

• Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and answering questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.

• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their dining experience.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination and exceptional service delivery.
