Job summary

Hilton New Orleans Airport is seeking a friendly, professional server to greet guests, take and deliver food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will input orders into the POS, monitor standards, and assist with dessert service while following liquor regulations and hotel policies.

The role requires basic food and beverage knowledge, good English communication, and the ability to lift trays up to 40 lbs. Previous hospitality experience is preferred in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prefer 6 months to 1 year serving experience.
• Louisiana Responsible Vendor Permit required.

Responsibilities

• Take and input guest orders accurately into the POS.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Deliver orders with appropriate condiments and check for accuracy.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and present the check per hotel procedures.
• Adhere to state, federal and liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages as needed and promote desserts or specialty coffees.
• Attend required meetings and assist with sidework as needed.
