Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Server to welcome and seat guests, take orders, and deliver meals and beverages with outstanding guest service. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to maintain brand standards in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with seating, coordinating with management, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining area. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and be prepared to obtain a TIPS certification within 30

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months customer service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified).
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area.
• Maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times.
• Assist with seating guests as needed (in the absence of the hostess).
• Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel & restaurant guests & staff.
• Serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
• Adhere to Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service.
• Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant.
• Assist with clearing and set-up of tables.
• Assist with restocking of supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members.
• Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/manager
