Job summary

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall in Atlanta is seeking enthusiastic servers to deliver memorable dining experiences. You will greet guests, describe menu items, suggest drinks, take orders, and work with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.

This role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain clean work areas, handle payments, and support guests with a warm, professional touch while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Excellent communication with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Willingness to work minimum 20 hours per week.
• Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Describe menu items to customers and suggest drinks that may appeal to their taste.
• Provide detailed information on drinks/food blends, preparation techniques, ingredients, and allergens.
• Take guest orders accurately using the POS system.
• Assist with preparing and serving food items as needed.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, checking on guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment according to health standards.
• Uphold safety and sanitation requirements for guests and team.
• Operate cash registers and credit card machines, handling payments accurately.
• Maintain dining area and service station cleanliness and organization.
• Stock stations with paper products and beverage items as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables and restocking supplies.
