Job summary

Sarasota Yacht Club, Inc. seeks friendly servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience for members and guests. You will welcome guests, describe specials, take and relay orders via POS, and ensure timely delivery with attentive service.

Requirements include clear English communication, basic POS literacy, standing for long periods, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Spanish is a plus; prior dining experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in English with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, members and guests.
• Must be computer literate and able to learn the POS system.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet members; make them feel comfortable.
• Inform members of specials and menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders; enter in POS and relay to kitchen/bar.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean service areas and assist teammates as needed.
• Upsell programs as directed by the Dining Room Manager.
• Present final bill and process payments.
