Job summary

Sarasota Yacht Club, Inc. is seeking a courteous dining room associate to greet members, serve bread and water, and maintain table readiness throughout service.

Responsibilities include clearing between courses, resetting tables, assisting with food delivery for large parties, and ensuring restroom cleanliness. Prior restaurant experience preferred; English required, Spanish helpful; ability to stand for extended periods is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, catering, or buffet experience required.
• Clear English communication with staff and guests; Spanish helpful.
• Must be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet members upon seating and serve bread, butter and water.
• Remove used tableware between courses and reset tables.
• Clear tables and transport used dishware for washing.
• Maintain clean tabletops, chairs, and booths; reset layout.
• Inspect restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
• Assist servers with food delivery, especially for large parties.
• Thank members as they leave.
• Be available to fill in to ensure smooth operation as directed by supervisor.
