Taleo in Reno, NV is seeking a friendly restaurant server to take beverage and food orders, input orders into the POS system, and deliver meals to guests. You will explain the menu and specials, memorize offerings for pairing recommendations, and ensure a high standard of guest service.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of menu products.
• Superior knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle basic reading, math, and writing tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Take beverage and food orders from restaurant guests and input orders into POS system.
• Deliver orders following required standards for the position.
• Prepare tableside items (if applicable) and anticipate guest’s needs.
• Complete all side work including wiping down stations, restocking supplies, polishing silverware, buffing glasses, and setting up service stations.
• Explain menu to guests and answer questions they may have.
• Memorize the menu and specials to recommend dishes and beverage pairings.
• Ensure high quality of food and service and provide timely table maintenance.
• Assist busser/runner with tasks like table setup and delivering food.
• Support management and host team to accommodate larger groups and events.
• Adhere to SOPs regarding paperwork, cash, and auditing.
