Job summary

The Brigantine is seeking a Server in San Diego to deliver hospitality and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining dining and employee area cleanliness and safety.

You will take orders, serve guests, process payments, and promote menu items in a fast-paced environment. A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods.
• Must be able to carry trays and supplies up to 30 lbs.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.
• Minimum 1 year serving experience in a full-service restaurant with liquor, beer, and wine.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests enjoy their experience and address problems.
• Acknowledge guests and encourage return visits.
• Complete sidework at start, during, and end of shift.
• Keep service stations clean and organized.
• Respond to guests’ needs urgently and appropriately.
• Anticipate needs and exceed service expectations.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies.
