Qualifications

• Friendly, attentive, and professional communication with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Competence in adding, subtracting, and calculating bills accurately.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other servers.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome customers warmly and guide them to their tables if a host is not present.
• Taking Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders, noting any dietary restrictions or preferences, and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
• Serving Food and Beverages: Deliver orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality, and check in periodically to meet additional customer needs.
• Menu Knowledge and Recommendations: Answer questions about menu items, suggest specials, and upsell additional dishes or drinks when appropriate.
• Handling Payments: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, or digital transactions.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep tables, serving stations, and dining areas clean and organized; assist with light cleaning and food prep as needed.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow food safety regulations and best practices, including proper handling of food and beverages.
