Job summary

Aramark is seeking a friendly Server to deliver great guest experiences at events in Indianapolis. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests have memorable visits while maintaining a clean service area.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service and communication skills, ability to work evenings or weekends, and basic food safety knowledge. This role may involve lifting and standing for long periods and may require a food safety certification.

Qualifications

• Previous server or food service experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures; a food safety certification may be required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serves food and beverage to guests according to orders or banquet menu.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and offerings.
• Maintains cleanliness of service areas during events.
• Replenishes food and beverage products.
• Ensures alcohol service policies and ID checks are followed.
• Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests' needs.
• Cleans/sanitizes service areas, workstations, and equipment.
• Maintains a positive demeanor with guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets.
