Job summary

joeleotexmex is seeking a friendly server to be the face of our restaurant and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will manage tables, take orders, serve food and drinks, and help guests with menu selections in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team. Compensation includes an hourly wage with tips, with opportunities for guest interaction and upselling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in serving or hospitality
• TABC and Food Handler certifications preferred or required
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with sanitation and order in mind
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and make recommendations
• Present menus and help customers select items
• Answer questions or recommend complementary products
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Handle complaints with a positive attitude
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age if needed
• Process bills and accept payment
