Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex is hiring a friendly server to be the face of the restaurant and ensure a positive guest experience. You will present menus, take orders, serve food and drinks, and maintain tidy tables while engaging with customers in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, quick thinking, and a polite, friendly attitude. Compensation includes hourly wages and tips, with opportunities to excel in a lively Tex-Mex dining environment.

Qualifications

• Tip pool or otherwise share tips with other employees.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with sanitation and order in mind.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages.
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age, if necessary.
• Issue bills and accept payment.
