Job summary

Juliet Austin is seeking a friendly Server to deliver outstanding dining experiences. In this role you greet guests, take orders, present meals, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

You will maintain restaurant cleanliness, handle openings/closings, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with up to 40 pounds lifting. High school diploma preferred; prior restaurant serving experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of serving experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide exceptional service throughout their meal.
• Guide guests through the menu, including making recommendations and answering questions.
• Take accurate orders and enter them into our point-of-sale system in a timely manner.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper plate presentation and food temperature.
• Monitor and anticipate guests’ needs and assist with any requests including refilling drinks and utensils.
• Respond appropriately to complaints and bring them to the attention of management.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down tables, cleaning tables and workspaces, and ensuring the restaurant is clean and tidy.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure the best possible dining experience.
