Job summary

Quail Springs Culinary (QSC) in Layton, UT is seeking a part-time Server to deliver a welcoming dining experience. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff, you will maintain clean, organized service areas and follow health and safety guidelines. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays are preferred, with prior customer service experience helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order timing and delivery.
• Handle guest payments and provide accurate change or process electronic transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas during the shift.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
