Job summary

BRU Burger Carmel in Carmel, IN is seeking a Server to provide exceptional customer service, take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean dining area. This non-exempt role offers exposure to tips and advancement opportunities within Cunningham Restaurant Group.

Candidates need excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided; evenings, weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverages.
• Input orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy before sending to kitchen.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly and maintain presentation standards.
• Keep the dining area clean and stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth operations.
• Promote daily specials and desserts to increase sales.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and company policies.
