Job summary

FirstService Residential in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Server to ensure guests have a great dining experience by greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, and tending to diners with superior customer service.

You will be responsible for accurate order entry, timely service, and maintaining menu knowledge while adhering to safety regulations. Valid Food Handlers card and 1+ year of restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and provide a friendly, attentive dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system promptly
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and ingredients
• Ensure accuracy of orders and presentation before delivering to tables
• Monitor guest needs throughout the meal and respond promptly to requests
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist with table setup, clearing, and resetting between seatings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Handle resident feedback or concerns professionally and elevate to the Food & Beverage Manager when needed
• Support special events, banquets, or community functions as required
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent service standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Valid Food Handlers card

1+ year of resultant experience
