Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Los Angeles is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver memorable dining experiences with a warm welcome, inspired recommendations, and seamless service from starter to dessert and beyond.

You will maintain a clean, stocked dining area, handle guest requests with care, and support kitchen duties as needed. The role requires flexibility for night, weekend and holiday shifts, physical stamina, and excellent communication to ensure guests feel valued throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physical tasks.
• Basic reading, writing and math required.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local food handling and alcohol service laws; fluent in local language.
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to guests with warmth and high standards.
• Keep the dining area stocked and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Minimize waste and notify supervisor of unsafe equipment, low supplies or incidents.
• Take on ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth service throughout the shift.
