Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a restaurant team member to take guest orders, serve meals and beverages, perform sidework, and operate the POS system. You will maintain cleanliness, bus and reset tables, and assist with inventory and cash handling per policy.

The role requires knowledge of wines, flexibility to work a variable schedule including weekends and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Prior bartending or cocktail serving experience is aPlus.

Qualifications

• Ability to push, stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of wine and alcoholic beverages with ability to explain to guests.
• Must obtain Alcohol Server Permit for applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Perform sidework as assigned
• Operate point of sale system.
• Bus and set tables.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Communicate with support crew and management.
• Adhere to Coury Hospitality Cash Handling Policy.
• Extend and total the check double-check for accuracy and have host sign it.
