Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and hosts, ensuring smooth service, timely beverage and food delivery, and a welcoming dining room. The role emphasizes attention to detail, cleanliness, and coordination with the Server and Manager on Duty.

You will maintain water levels, clear and reset tables, stock stations, and assist with sanitation to meet company standards. Previous restaurant service experience and reliability are preferred; this is a non-exempt position

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving or customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to stand for eight hours and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Adheres to safety and sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers and hosts in serving food and beverages.
• Maintain water levels and water service throughout the meal.
• Clear, clean and reset tables with service wares per sanitation standards.
• Crumb tables as directed by the Server.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dish drop area and sort accordingly.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations with necessary equipment.
• Fold napkins, polish silver, and replenish condiments; keep side-stand stocked.
• Ensure dining room and service areas are clean and visually appealing.
• Respond to guest service issues and report to the Server or Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a professional appearance at the station and surrounding area.
• Perform special cleaning projects as needed and as directed by management.
• Maintain teamwork and communication with coworkers and supervisors.
