Job summary

Detour American Grille & Bar in Southport, NY is looking for an attentive server to provide food and beverage service, take orders, input them into the POS, deliver meals, and clear tables. You will greet guests, explain specials, and ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction throughout service.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18 years or older, a valid Food Worker Card, and the ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage service including order taking, delivery and clearing
• Greet guests and explain specials/promotions
• Input orders into POS and relay to kitchen
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, verify accuracy and deliver to guests
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by state/federal regulations and liquor policies for serving alcohol to minors or intoxicated guests
