Job summary

Bryce Canyon Pines Hotel is seeking a courteous restaurant server to deliver high-quality food and beverage service. You will greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and assist with upselling while ensuring accurate payments at a Micros POS. Must verify IDs, manage alcohol service, and maintain spotless dining areas.

The role requires reliable attendance, teamwork, and adherence to safety and grooming standards in a hotel dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Micros POS and basic computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and take orders.
• Describe menu items and upsell products when appropriate.
• Verify IDs and ensure legal drinking age is met.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately at POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and reset tables; assist with side work.
• Open and close the outlet following procedures; assist with deep cleaning.
