Job summary

Universal Horror Unleashed is seeking a guest services associate to warmly welcome guests, manage seating and the wait list, and assist diners with reservations and menu questions. You will navigate busy periods with poise, ensure safety and cleanliness, and support team members in delivering a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets guests, accommodates guests with special needs, quotes wait times, maintains an efficient wait list, directs guests to appropriate waiting areas and takes reservations.
• Escorts guests to table, reviews menu specials and provide guests with menus.
• Answers questions about the specific food operation and possesses full knowledge of food and beverage products served.
• Coordinates the orderly movement of people by monitoring table turns, walking the dining room, managing seating plans and understanding service capacities.
• Assists Server Assistants in cleaning and resetting tables. Keeps restaurant/area clean and free of litter at all times.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
