Job summary

American Social - Orlando is seeking an energetic host to greet guests, seat them, and manage the waiting list with a friendly, professional demeanor. You will maintain the seating system, coordinate with servers, and ensure smooth guest flow in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

You should be punctual, comfortable working late shifts, and able to stand for long periods. English fluency is required, and any food-handling or alcohol-awareness certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to work late night shifts (e.g., 12 AM–3 AM).
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write.
• Food handling certificate preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.
• Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Seat guests, manage the waiting list, and notify when seating is available.
• Maintain the seating system to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Coordinate with servers and managers regarding table status.
• Keep host area stocked with menus and supplies.
• Assist with general cleanliness and sanitation in lobby areas.
• Answer phones and provide directions, hours, and take-out info.
