Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Sales Teammate to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. You will engage customers, answer questions, recommend merchandise, and assist with fitting rooms and checkout.

This role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and a team-driven store environment. As a Teammate, you’ll support merchandising, perform POS tasks, and participate in store duties to maintain a clean, shoppable space.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product using product knowledge and sales education and share that knowledge with the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service throughout the store in Front Five, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
• Help Guests try on or fit merchandise.
• Check out and bag purchases.
• Prepare merchandise for alterations.
• Know exchange and return procedures and turn them into showmanship opportunities.
• Fill out and effectively use the Sales Presentation Guide daily to accomplish goals.
• Meet or exceed Buckle’s performance standards in loyalty programs and services.
• Place Special Orders or call other stores to find desired merchandise.
• Maintain and build good Guest relationships to develop a client-based business.
• Develop knowledge of Buckle’s customer service expectations to meet Guest needs.
• Perform leadership actions and maintain high standards whether the Manager is present.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
