Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in Manhattan’s NoMad district is hiring for a restaurant runner for a new concept opening in early 2027 at a five-star hotel on Park Avenue. You will deliver and describe all menu items, and act as liaison between servers, bartenders, and chefs.

The role emphasizes exceptional hospitality, effective communication of allergies or dietary restrictions, station maintenance, and teamwork in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year restaurant experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and describes all food items to guests.
• Acts as liaison between servers, cocktail servers & bartenders, and chefs.
• Maintains stations and general cleanliness of the venue.
• Participates in pre-service and training sessions and supports co-workers.
