Job summary

Kimpton Harper Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Runner to fulfill guest requests with proper presentation and to assist housekeeping by removing trash and soiled linen. The role emphasizes timely delivery and maintaining cleanliness throughout storage areas.

This position requires English communication and strong organization, with duties including assisting guests, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting the housekeeping team to ensure a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in written and verbal form in English.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Report Housekeeping Office and PBX team at start of shift.
• Fulfill and deliver guest requests with the proper presentation.
• Inventory and maintain cleanliness of all linen closets and empty trash.
• Resupply guest room supplies in the linen closet daily.
• Offer assistance to guest when requested or needed.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping.
• Employ proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Make sure all storage closets are clean and neat daily.
• Respond appropriately to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• Pick up and deliver guest request items in a timely manner and marking them complete when delivered.
• Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, and following company appearance standards.
• Collect trash from various areas and take to designated area.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, helpful attitude for guest experience.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and HHM EarthView program.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
