Job summary

HHM Hotels in Big Sky, MT is seeking a Housekeeping Runner to support room attendants by fulfilling guest requests and delivering items with prompt, courteous service.

You will assist housekeeping, manage supplies, report maintenance needs, and uphold HHM’s sustainability guidelines. This role requires English communication, physical stamina, and a team-oriented, guest-focused attitude. This position is full-time and on-site at our mountain resort.

Responsibilities

• Report to Housekeeping Office at start of shift.
• Fulfill and deliver guest requests with the proper presentation.
• Inventory and maintain cleanliness of linen closets and trash areas.
• Resupply guest room supplies in the linen closet daily.
• Assist guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Report maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping and safety concerns.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies properly.

Opportunity: Housekeeping Runner

Fulfill and deliver all guest’s requests with the proper presentation. Assists Housekeeping by removing the trash and soiled linen from the floors.

Essential Job Functions

• Report Housekeeping Office and PBX team at start of shift.
• Fulfill and deliver guest requests with the proper presentation.
• Inventory and maintain cleanliness of all linen closets and empty trash.
• Resupply guest room supplies in the linen closet daily.
• Offer assistance to guest when requested or needed.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping.
• Employ proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Make sure all storage closets are clean and neat daily
• Respond appropriately to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• Pick up and deliver guest request items in a timely manner and calling them in as complete once they have been delivered.
• Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, and following company appearance standards.
• Collect trash from various areas throughout the property and take it to the designated area.
• Consistently maintain a positive, friendly, helpful attitude that ensures a positive guest experience.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Frequently standing up and moving around the resort for extended period of time during the shift
• Carrying or lifting 50lbs.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
