Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking an in-venue runner for two new Tampa venues at Hotel Cala: LAVO and BarOnda. You will deliver and describe all food items, interact with servers, bartenders, and chefs, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced waterfront setting.

Must have 1 year restaurant experience preferred and be able to stand for long periods, with a positive, professional attitude and strong teamwork. Training included.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Ability to describe food items to guests clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and describes all food items to guests in a timely manner.
• Interacts with servers, cocktail servers, bartenders, and chefs.
• Maintains cleanliness of stations and venue areas.
• Assists with opening/closing duties and daily pre-service meetings.
• Solicits allergies or dietary restrictions from guests and communicates to management.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and related hotel environments.
• Works as part of a team and supports coworkers in a fast-paced setting.
