Job summary

Olympia Hospitality in Mystic, CT is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain spotless guest rooms and common areas. This role focuses on warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable stay.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping/cleaning experience and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Able to follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to established cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Refresh linens, towels, and amenities and report deficiencies to housekeeping supervisor.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks (carpets, floors, bathrooms) as needed.
• Greet guests in a friendly, respectful manner while protecting privacy.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries to enhance their stay.
• Coordinate with other housekeeping staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate room status, special requests, and guest preferences to supervisors.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
