SSA Group at Wonders of Wildlife in Springfield, Missouri seeks a Retail Associate to join our guest-focused team. You will engage visitors, process transactions, merchandise products, and help maintain an inviting retail space.

We value strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior POS experience and basic Excel use are a plus, but training is available.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge and POS systems, including Excel.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 10–35 lbs.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Fulfill guest needs quickly and efficiently.
• Inform leadership when item quantities are low or upon special requests; coordinate with warehouse to pull/fill items.
• Relay customer feedback to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Stock supplies and keep displays tidy.
• Maintain balanced cash drawer as assigned.
• Merchandise products to maximize sales.
• Promote promotions and suggestive selling.
• Support sustainability/conservation efforts and teach staff.
• Participate in community engagement and hiring efforts.
