Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC in Adairsville, GA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience.

You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and support unloading trucks while following store procedures. This role emphasizes friendly interactions, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow and access our employee programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and general presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
