Job summary

AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, Texas seeks a Reservations Agent to deliver warm, professional guest service and manage reservations. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling inquiries by phone and email and supporting group bookings with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include creating, modifying, and confirming individual and group reservations, upselling room types and packages, and communicating hotel policies clearly.

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm, professional, and personalized service.
• Respond promptly to reservation inbox inquiries, questions, concerns, and requests.
• Create, modify, and manage individual and group reservations with accurate guest details.
• Maximize revenue through upselling room types, packages, and hotel offerings.
• Assist Group Rooms Coordinator with rooming lists, routing, and billing arrangements.
• Set up and maintain accurate reservation notes and billing instructions for multiple departments.
• Communicate hotel policies, including cancellations and deposits, clearly to guests.
• Stay informed about inventory, rates, amenities, and local events to provide recommendations.
• Maintain high accuracy and efficiency while handling high volumes of calls and emails.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
