Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties is seeking a Campground Ranger / Front Desk Clerk in Welches, Oregon. The role blends guest services with campground patrol, security monitoring, and front desk operations to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for guests and residents.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to handle a variety of situations calmly and professionally, including guest inquiries, payments, and enforcing resort rules. Weekend/evening shifts required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize reservation, payment, and property management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to assess situations quickly, exercise sound judgment, and resolve problems professionally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and varying shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and residents, providing information and assistance in person, over the phone, and electronically.
• Take reservations, check guests in and out, and process payments, deposits, day passes, and retail store purchases.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction by resolving conflicts and addressing issues diplomatically.
• Run reports, maintain accurate records, and submit maintenance requests to support property operations.
• Communicate regularly with management regarding guest concerns, incidents, and operational needs.
