Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos is hiring for a Hospitality Team member in Texas. You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, and ensure fast, accurate transactions using our POS.

The role emphasizes warm hospitality, delivery of excellent guest experiences, and teamwork to exceed expectations. Applicants should be capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working a flexible schedule with benefits accruing for full-time employees after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must meet state/local requirements for Food Handler’s and Alcohol Server certifications.
• Certification(s) must be obtained by the first day or within location timelines.
• 2 years of customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
• 2 years of experience using POS (point-of-sale) systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, ask questions to understand needs, and ensure fast, accurate transactions.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality and make guests feel welcomed and valued.
• Learn menu and promotions to offer personalized recommendations.
• Run food to tables and ensure orders are correct and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest-facing areas and work with team to resolve issues.
