Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Guest Services Associate to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. This part-time role, up to 25 hours per week, reports to the Store Manager and may work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.

You will greet Guests, prepare DipSide items, operate the POS and gas console, and help keep the store clean and inviting. The position requires basic English, the ability to lift 10 pounds, and comfortable working in cold environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment including POS terminal, gas console, and to check identifications.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment and to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, and to make change.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to cold temperatures (as low as –30 F for at least 2 minutes) and other physical requirements.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and place an 8x10x10 inch package into a dip cabinet.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience and greet Guests warmly.
• Prepare DipSide items, shakes, malts, cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console, handling transactions and payments.
• Stock merchandise, keep shelves and freezers filled, rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness and organization; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Accurately complete time records and customer documentation.
