Job summary

Mondrian South Beach is seeking a courteous PBX/Guest Services Associate to handle incoming calls, assist with outgoing calls, and support emergencies by coordinating with on-site personnel. The role emphasizes guest relations and accurate message handling in a luxury hotel environment.

You will maintain guest relations, log messages, provide information on resort facilities, and use Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient on Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous handling of all incoming calls and assist with outgoing calls via PBX.
• Assist with emergencies by contacting designated personnel for immediate help.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and acknowledge guests and residents promptly.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Log messages accurately and relay to appropriate resort personnel.
• Activate voicemail and print guest messages as needed.
• Provide accurate information on resort facilities and services.
• Route callers to requested guest or resort personnel/department.
