Job summary

White Barn Inn is seeking an Operations Houseman to support day‑to‑day property operations, assist with event setups, furniture moves, and guest experiences. The role requires dependability, physical fitness, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating across departments to ensure spaces are ready and welcoming.

The Houseman will move furniture and equipment, assist with room moves, maintain public areas, respond to guest requests, and support multiple departments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospitality or facilities experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down guest experiences, events, and activities.
• Arrange furniture, décor, equipment, and amenities per standards.
• Deliver and stage guest requests (cribs, rollaway beds, luggage racks, etc.).
• Ensure spaces are clean, organized, and presentation‑ready before and after use.
• Collaborate with Events, F&B, and Guest Services to create memorable guest experiences.
