Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Manager in Parkville, MD to support management and lead hourly staff in daily operations. You will ensure fast, friendly service, uphold quality standards, and assist with cash procedures as part of a busy restaurant team.

You will also conduct safety audits, supervise inventory, and provide hands-on training in Learning Zone to develop crew competence. This role requires flexibility in hours and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and ensuring product quality.
• Ability to coach and provide feedback to crew.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fast, accurate service and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Conduct periodic food safety audits.
• Provide ongoing coaching to crew on service, quality and speed.
• Assist with cash procedures including deposits and opening/closing.
• Conduct daily inventory and set up daily control sheets.
• Review facility and equipment readiness and monitor readiness.
• Monitor speed of service and resolve bottlenecks to meet goals.
• In management absence, oversee opening and closing of the restaurant.
• Provide hands-on training for crew in Learning Zone.
• Oversee benefits enrollment for eligible hours and related HR tasks.
