Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Sales Associate to guide guests through the shopping experience and deliver memorable service. You will act as a tour guide, communicator, entertainer, and memorabilia curator while ensuring accuracy in sales and product knowledge.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to work holidays/weekends, and a track record of strong customer service. Casino experience is a plus, and applicants must meet all regulatory licenses and background

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Must obtain and maintain licenses per Federal, State and Illinois Gaming Board regulations.
Must successfully pass background check.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
Prior experience in gaming industry strongly preferred.
Maintaining a well-groomed appearance.
Following all uniform guidelines.
Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Greeting guests.
Answering questions accurately and politely.
Answering the phone.
Making proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
Handling cash and other forms of payment.
Maintaining proper cash drawer balances.
Directing guests to areas/restrooms.
Demonstrating product knowledge.
Determining guests’ needs through 1-on-1 conversations and informing guests of product features & benefits.
Suggestive selling and maintaining store appearance.
