Job summary

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Service Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and uphold company standards for guest experience, service speed, and beverage costs. This role reports to the General Manager and is 100% in-person.

You will schedule staff, host charity events, train and mentor FOH team members, manage budgets, and ensure clean, welcoming environments with adherence to safety and service protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Knowledge of safe food handling procedures and safe alcohol/bar procedures is preferred.
• Experience training and mentoring diverse teams; strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate FOH staffing; host charitable events per company guidelines.
• Maintain beverage costs at or below goals using weekly ordering and Margin Edge.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and development of FOH staff; manage conflicts and performance.
• Build weekly FOH schedules within labor budgets and improve business flow.
• Partner with GM and maintenance to address high-priority needs and ensure cleanliness and safety.
