JOEY Restaurants in Manhattan Beach, CA is seeking a Guest Services Manager to lead a high-performing front-of-house team and uphold iconic hospitality standards.

You will recruit, coach, and empower staff, deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage budgets and labor, and drive quarterly planning to support a multi-million-dollar operation. The role demands leadership, communication, and a passion for world-class service.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years leadership experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Foster a cohesive and collaborative team environment through exemplary leadership.
• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with urgency and good judgment.
• Assist with managing store sales, budgets, cost of goods, and labor.
• Supervise and guide service and experience standards and provide coaching.
• Build sales opportunities and positive guest experiences.
• Fulfill recruitment needs, support candidate experience and retention.
• Support training and development of technical knowledge and execution.
• Communicate daily focus and feedback to service and kitchen teams.
• Follow all food and alcohol service safety precautions and procedures.
