Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and high-quality food is served and that the restaurant crew is well trained. You will keep the line clean, organized, and running smoothly, with leadership to support shifts and crew development.

The role involves on-your-feet work, clocked-in performance, and task delegation when demand is low. Chipotle emphasizes ongoing training, safety, and customer service in a dynamic fast-casual

Qualifications

• Be able to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues.
• Supporting food safety measures including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf life monitoring, and daily safety checklists.
• Resolving customer incidents and ensuring positive experiences.
• Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross-training all front-of-house crew.
• Assisting with performance reviews and with development of future Service Leaders.
• Handling office duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork.
• Ensuring office equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
