Job summary

The Inn at Canaan is seeking a Guest Experience Manager to lead daily hotel operations and elevate every guest interaction in a mountain setting near West Virginia’s Canaan Valley.

You will design on-site experiences, coach a small team, and build relationships with guests and local partners to drive memorable moments and sustained growth. Strong hospitality passion and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hotel leadership, hospitality management, or guest services experience (or equivalent).
• Previous experience supervising, coaching, and developing teams.
• Genuine passion for outdoor adventure, local culture, and creating memorable moments
• Strong relationship-building skills with both guests and community partners.
• Comfortable balancing creative experience design with day-to-day operational leadership.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the hotel focusing on guest satisfaction.
• Act as the public face of the Inn, elevating the guest experience.
• Coach and develop a small team while maintaining a visible presence.
• Create and host live events and on-property experiences.
• Build a network of local partners to extend the Inn’s brand.
• Balance guest satisfaction with operational and financial performance.
