Job summary

Perkins American Food Co. in Rochester, MN seeks a Service Leader to drive guest satisfaction by enforcing policies, procedures, and standards. You’ll ensure proper greeting, seating, service, and cash handling according to company guidelines.

You will train staff, monitor food temps and safety, respond to guest concerns, manage cash and POS, supervise equipment, and collaborate with the Manager on Duty to maintain a high-energy, safe dining environment.

Qualifications

• Sanitation, safety, and customer service basics taught in-house.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greets, seats, and serves guests according to standards.
• Resolves guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Handles cash, credit cards, and gift cards accurately.
• Maintains facility and equipment with preventive maintenance and safety compliance.
• Monitors food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
• Trains employees during shifts for proper performance.
• Ensures menu items are prepared and served to standards.
• Identifies and corrects system issues to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Communicates with Manager on Duty about deficiencies or problems.
• Manages change fund, cash register, and guest check controls.
