Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Service Leader to ensure a positive customer experience and safe, high-quality food preparation. You’ll keep the restaurant line organized, train crew, and assist with operations. The role requires hands-on leadership and a willingness to help across tasks as needed.

The position emphasizes food safety, crew development, and maintaining a well-run dining room and kitchen while supporting daily store functions and office duties.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support food safety through hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, and Daily Food Safety Checklist compliance.
• Resolve customer incidents to maintain positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and with developing future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties including banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are ordered.
• Ensure adequate supplies are available as needed.
