Job summary

HRI Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor at Hilton San Antonio Hill Country. You will supervise housekeeping teams, oversee room cleaning, public areas and laundry, and ensure service standards are met to delight guests.

The role requires strong leadership and a focus on safety and efficiency. Flexible schedule including AM/PM shifts, and the chance to lead a dynamic team in a resort-style hotel near SeaWorld San Antonio.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in Housekeeping.
• Minimum of 6 months plus experience as an Inspector.
• Minimum 1 year supervisor experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Knowledge in the safe use of cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness standards of the Hotel in all areas of the Hotel.
• Effectively manage Housekeeping staff to accomplish daily tasks.
• Act as liaison between Front Office, Engineering and Housekeeping.
• Oversee room cleaning, public area cleaning, and laundry & guest laundry services.
• Promote unity and teamwork throughout the department.
• Supervise Housekeeping teams to maximize the guest experience and efficiency.
• Observe and coach associate behavior for compliance with standards.
• Regularly inspect public areas and guestrooms.
• Communicate with guests in a professional, courteous manner.
